This role is part of the APS workforce within Navy. As a Psychological Services Provider, you will deliver psychological support to Defence members, organisational assessments, short-term interventions, risk assessment, command referrals, mental health training delivery and critical incident mental health support.

The role is part of a broader psychology team of professionals, including Clinical, Organisational & General Psychologists as well as Psychology Assistants. You will work closely with other health professionals and command teams to deliver best-practice resilience and mental health programs.

Navy Psychology West provides services to Navy Fleet Units and the Garrison Shore Establishment at HMAS Stirling. The team works together to achieve a high standard of psychology service provision, liaising regularly with command elements, health providers and wellbeing stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is seeking variety in their professional career. They will be capable of performing a range of psychology services, including psychological assessments, training delivery and development, report writing, brief psychological intervention, critical incident management mental health support, and stakeholder engagement.
