About the Role

The successful candidate will provide assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. They will engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of patients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with varying physical and mental disabilities, providing evidence-based interventions to enhance their functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of patients.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as necessary.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rural or generalist setting.
  • Rural generalist or mixed caseload experience is highly advantageous.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
