Locum Occupational Therapist – Regional WA

Location: regional Western Australia, about 2 hours from Perth. This locum position offers a broad rural generalist caseload across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, intervention and rehabilitation services to clients in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
  • Work across a broad rural generalist caseload and contribute to multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally 1+ years of OT experience.
  • Rural generalist or mixed caseload experience advantageous.
  • Current AHPRA registration.

Occupational Therapist – Graduate and Experienced at Connect2Care

Location: Perth, Western Australia. Company: Connect2Care. Type: Permanent.

The Role
  • Join a multidisciplinary team and provide evidence-based services through telehealth, community visits and centre-based services.
  • Referrals may come through the NDIS, Medicare or privately.
  • This is a mobile role with the option to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients.
  • Assess and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities.
  • Work within the NDIS to maximise function, capacity and social engagement.
  • Assist with assistive technology assessments, recommendations and applications (where relevant).
  • Timely documentation and report writing.
  • Manage a varied caseload and meet professional expectations (e.g., billables and client management).
  • Attend meetings, supervision and personal development; build relationships with stakeholders; work across leading software platforms.
New Grad Program

Connect2Care offers a tailored New Graduate Program over 12 months to support recent graduates through induction, supervision and competency development, mentoring, mental health drop-in sessions, shadowing with senior clinicians and multidisciplinary team collaboration.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in related field.
  • Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA).
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (and International Police Check where applicable).
  • Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle; car insurance; Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance.
