About the role

This locum opportunity places you in regional WA, about 2 hours from Perth, working across a broad rural generalist caseload. You'll provide assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. An excellent chance for OTs seeking varied experience and professional growth in a rural hospital environment.

Skills & experience

  • Ideally 1+ years' OT experience
  • Rural generalist or mixed caseload experience advantageous
  • Current AHPRA registration

Job Description

Our team is dedicated to delivering best-practice therapy and ensuring our therapists feel satisfied and motivated. Join a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based services via telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. Referrals may come through NDIS, Medicare, or private sources. This is a mobile role with flexible working options.

The role involves:

  • Assessing and intervening for children & adults with disabilities
  • Working within NDIS to maximize client function and engagement
  • Assistive technology assessments and recommendations
  • Timely documentation and report writing
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Meeting professional expectations
  • Attending meetings, supervision, and personal development
  • Building stakeholder relationships
  • Using leading software platforms and online tools

We also offer a New Graduate Program to support recent graduates over 12 months, including induction, supervision, training, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Discipline-specific registration (AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Checks (including international if applicable)
  • Drivers license & reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance
