Industrial Fitter and Turner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Fitter and Turner to join our team in Woleebee Creek QLD.

  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul rotating equipment including pumps, mixers, and mechanical seals.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for personnel, plant, and equipment.
  • Replace bearings, mechanical seals, pump alignments, and other tasks as allocated by the supervisor.
  • Identify and report hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
  • Document all completed tasks.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
  • Experience with pumps, mixers, mechanical seals, and other rotating equipment is important, including pipe and static equipment system maintenance.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are required to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy is necessary, particularly using MS office and CMMS software.
  • Knowledge of mechanical seals and condition monitoring is advantageous.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing rotating equipment, ensuring a safe working environment, and communicating effectively with the maintenance team.
