The Opportunity

On behalf of our client, Ingot Engineering, we are looking for two qualified Fitter and Turners to join the team.

You will be working on a wide variety of engineering and manufacturing equipment, fixing parts and creating products to the highest standard in the Marine Industry.

About Ingot and Work Experience Required

Ingot Foundry Marine Engineering is a market leader in marine engineering and manufacturing. You will operate various machines (CNC, Manual Lathes, Mills) to produce a wide range of parts, mainly for marine vessels. Responsibilities include manufacturing new parts, repairing, and maintaining existing parts, and reading engineering drawings and plans.

You will also perform welding duties, including small repairs on castings, welding jigs and fixtures, and custom fabricating rudders. Experience with CAD / CAM is desirable.

The Ingot workshop and head office, located in Hemmant, also includes a Foundry, providing customers with a superior product and seamless service from a local Australian manufacturer.

Qualifications and Pre-employment Requirements
  • A relevant Engineering Trade Certificate (Mandatory)
  • Construction White Card or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, police, and drug & alcohol tests
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)
