We are seeking a dedicated Aged Care Professional to join our team as a Compassionate Caregiver. In this role, you will work in partnership with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity for a skilled and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Compassionate Caregiver, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and medication management;
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress.
In addition to your clinical skills and knowledge, we are looking for someone who is empathetic, understanding, and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Nursing registration with AHPRA;
- At least 2 years of experience in residential aged care;
- Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills;
- Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) and ability to maintain accurate records;
- A strong understanding of aged care principles and practices.
