Come join the Infinite team in this newly created position as our Group Painter on a full-time basis.
This role will be working across our aged care homes in Southeast QLD.
Aged Care Facilities South East QLD - Nursing Homes in SE QLD
Your home base will be in our Ashmore Care Home, Gold Coast.
The Group Painter is responsible for ensuring the homes present their best in regard to painting.
This role involves performing routine paint touch-up tasks, paint projects, and ensuring work is completed in a secure, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
This is a full-time permanent role with benefits including a car allowance.
Day-to-day duties and responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify touch-up painting needs.
Review the facility's infrastructure to plan and complete painting projects across the aged care homes.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, accessibility, and building codes.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruptions and ensure safety.
Manage and maintain equipment related to painting tasks.
Assist in budget planning for maintenance and repairs, managing expenses efficiently.
Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for specialized tasks.
About You:
Hold a resident-centric mindset in all aspects of your work.
Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and develop based on feedback.
Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to apply.
Trade Certification as a Painter is preferred.
