Asset Risk Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Risk Manager to join our team. As an Asset Risk Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of asset strategies, policies, and standards to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our electrical network.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience;
  • Strong experience in asset management, risk forecasting, and power systems;
  • An analytical mindset with knowledge of optimisation tools;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Proven leadership capability and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and improving asset strategies, informed by FMECA and lifecycle analysis, to ensure our network is safe and cost-effective throughout its lifespan;
  2. Overseeing preventative and condition-based maintenance practices, working closely with Field Operations and the EPMO to manage risk and maintain consistent asset performance;
  3. Collaborating with internal experts to design and maintain robust asset risk and intervention value models that guide asset strategies and investment decisions;
  4. Driving long-term asset planning and forecasting, developing intervention strategies and maintenance programs that balance performance, safety, and sustainability.
