Company Overview

Our client, a leading marketing, distribution and sales provider of print solutions, 3D milling and engraving technologies, has been serving the market for over 30 years. They are now seeking an experienced Servicemanager to join their team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technical service professionals, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Service Staff Management: Manage and oversee the delivery of exceptional technical services to customers.
  • KPI Management: Ensure staff members meet their agreed key performance indicators.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee and manage technical service delivery either in-house or on-site.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to partners and end-users.
  • Customer Needs: Manage and cater to customer technical needs.
  • International Partners: Liaise with international partners regarding technical service issues.
  • Service Activities: Oversee overall service activities and services provided.
  • Process Review: Analyze and review internal technical service processes.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice on service and warranty programs.
  • Budgeting: Prepare, track, and set targets for the technical service team.
  • Training: Manage ongoing team training requirements and certification according to international standards.

Requirements

  • Leadership: Possess management skills with the ability to manage internal and external personnel effectively.
  • Education: Hold a degree in a technical field or have relevant commercial or practical experience.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of electrical circuitry and/or certifications for working with 120+ volts is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a service management role is essential.
  • Skills: Technical organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards is necessary.
  • Analysis: Ability to analyze workflows, eliminate waste, and optimize improvements.
  • Niche Expertise: Knowledge of wide format printing is highly desirable.

Earnings Estimate
