Join us in shaping the future of production with a pivotal role that oversees the output of our team. As Head of Production, you will be responsible for forming part of the leadership group and contributing heavily to our strategy, processes, and delivery.

The role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and superior communication skills. You will be expected to guide and influence stakeholders across various seniority levels, while also driving process improvement and managing top-tier clients with professionalism and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute heavily to company strategy, processes, and delivery to ensure a world-class experience for internal and external clients.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the full in-house production team, including video editors, producers, and videographers.
  • Build career pathway frameworks for the production department, set objectives, and manage performance reviews, ensuring regular 121s, coaching, and mentorship to maintain a happy, healthy, and engaged team.
  • Represent the production team in planning sessions, partnering with other 'Head Of' stakeholders, ensuring issues are raised and addressed appropriately, and maintaining strong team cohesion.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Head of Production or similar in a media production company is essential.
  • Proven experience in people management, building and leading highly efficient and engaged teams, understanding the importance of career progression, and being able to talk confidently about previous experiences growing and promoting those around you.
  • Process improvement: Share multiple examples of times your ideas have boosted efficiency for the team and business.
  • Technical knowledge: Understand the technical aspects of video production and engage confidently with shooters, producers, and editors on various topics.
  • Commercial knowledge: Take a holistic approach to strategy planning, revenue generation, and budget management.
  • Superior communication skills, guiding, and influencing stakeholders of all seniority.
