Internal Communications Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to elevate our internal communications strategy. As a strategic storyteller, you will connect teams with purpose and translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that empower staff and align with organisational values.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Strategic Communications, this position will initially support the People & Culture team and provide coverage across the organisation as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and deliver engaging internal communications that inform, inspire, and connect teams.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and embed the corporate plan across the organisation.
  • Develop content that helps staff confidently represent the organisation to external stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand across all internal channels.
  • Track the impact of your work and continuously improve how we communicate.
  • Create innovative internal communications solutions.
Requirements
  • A background in communications, PR, or a related field and a passion for people-first storytelling.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content production skills across modern channels.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Experience in financial services or member-based organisations is an advantage.
