Water Planning Specialist

At AECOM, we're expanding our Sydney team to deliver innovative water projects and grow our integrated water planning services. As a skilled Water Planner, you'll work on complex projects across growth servicing, strategic planning for water, wastewater, and recycled water networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions.
  • Utilize creativity, foresight, and mature judgment to anticipate and solve project delivery, technical, and client challenges.
  • Provide technical direction, mentor, and train junior professionals.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and bid management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated network planning experience with hydraulic modeling of water and/or wastewater systems.
  • Understanding of current and potential future policy, practice, trends, technology, and information affecting water planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Appreciation of clients within the water and other water-related markets.
  • Experience or interest in project management.
