About the Role

SA Water is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Planner to join its Regulatory Planning Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide specialist advice and guidance on statutory approval requirements to support the Capital Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regulatory approvals are planned and obtained on time to support project delivery.
  • Provide expert guidance to project teams on statutory matters, ensuring integration and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional consultation to mitigate risks related to regulatory requirements and approvals.
  • Enhance and implement business processes related to regulatory requirements and capital delivery to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver training and resources for regulatory matters, ensuring up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in a senior role, operating within a complex regulatory environment.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of statutory requirements relevant to the government and infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated capability in navigating complex regulatory approval frameworks.
