Job Title: Senior Data Platform Lead

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to oversee our data platform team.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of engineers focused on designing, building, and deploying scalable data solutions. This includes developing and implementing data architectures, strategies, and best practices across the organization.

  • Lead a team of senior engineers in developing and maintaining complex data systems, including big data, NoSQL, and SQL engines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Design and deliver efficient data pipelines, leveraging cloud-based technologies like Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Partner with other engineering teams to develop and implement modern software development practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a technical lead or engineering manager, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of complex data systems.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing.
