Job Title: Coordinator OSHC 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Coordinator to lead a team in the provision of high-quality programs for children aged 5-12 years in Before and After School Care.

This is a permanent full-time role with typical hours during the school term being 7am-11am and 2:24pm-6:00pm.

As a Coordinator, you will be supported by the practice manager, CatholicCare coordinators, and provided with professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in the provision of high-quality programs for children aged 5-12 years.
  • Evaluate the program regularly to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school-age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
  • Advise families about the program, policies, and procedures when required.
  • Take on the role of educational leader within the service, provide guidance, and support to the team on best practice programming.
  • Work on administrative tasks and efficient day-to-day operation of the service.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications (Diploma level or working towards) in Outside School Hours Care or Children Services.
  • Skills and experience in team leadership.
  • Completed CHCPRT001 - Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework as it applies to Outside School Hours Care.
  • Hold a current First Aid certification and CPR certification including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training.
  • Have a current and valid Working with Children Check.
