Outside School Hours Care Program Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the Outside School Hours Care program meets the needs and interests of school-age children while adhering to the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the program to identify areas for improvement and ensure it aligns with the National Quality Framework.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to families regarding program policies and procedures as needed.
  • Lead the team by providing coaching and mentorship on best practice programming as an Educational Leader within the service.
  • Manage day-to-day operations efficiently, including administrative tasks and ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Possess qualifications or significant experience working in outside school hours care.
  • Proven skills and experience in team leadership.
  • Hold a certificate in identifying and responding to children at risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation governing Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework.
  • Maintain current First Aid certification, CPR certification, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • Hold a valid Working With Children Check.
