Job Overview

The Coordinator is responsible for overseeing programs catering to children aged 5-12 years in Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.

This role involves regularly evaluating the program's effectiveness and ensuring it meets the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework requirements.

As an Educational Leader, the Coordinator will provide guidance and support to the team on best practice programming.

Administrative tasks and efficient day-to-day operation of the service are also key responsibilities.

  • Significant experience in outside school hours care or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Completion of relevant certificates such as 'Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk.'
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework.
  • Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Working With Children Check.
