Job Title: Educational Support Assistant

About the Role

This role provides support to teachers in the coordination of educational programs, including rostering and organizing the work of a team of aides.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to provide medical intervention support to students as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide routine support to teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  2. Assist with the supervision of students in a classroom setting
  3. Communicate with teachers on matters related to student outcomes and educational programs
  4. Support the coordination of educational programs independently or under minimal supervision
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A commitment to working collaboratively with teaching staff and other school personnel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Basic first aid qualifications and experience in providing medical intervention support would be highly regarded
