Classroom Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Classroom Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide vital support to teachers and students in a classroom environment, ensuring a safe and positive learning space.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist teachers with planning student routines and providing support for educational activities
- Facilitate communication between teachers and parents, promoting effective partnerships
- Maintain clear communication with teachers on routine matters related to students and other responsibilities
- Provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students, including toileting, meals, and lifting
- Communicate effectively with students to support their comprehension of basic tasks and information
- Address immediate behavioral presentations related to specific students within the classroom setting, adhering to school policy and procedure
- Offer basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within the classroom setting
This role involves performing tasks in accordance with established guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. You may also be required to coordinate other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
Requirements:- Degree or equivalent in Education Support or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
