Job Overview

As a strategic leader in our IT, Data & Analytics team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional enterprise data platform services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various business units and internal technology teams.
  • Owning the data platform vendor relationships and management of vendor contracts and licencing.
  • Coordinate the delivery of consistent and effective technology services in relation to data management, in line with agreed data quality and governance practices.
  • Manage changes on the platform, including provision of estimates, resources planning, management of vendor statements of work, and leading the delivery of these changes on the platform.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies and provide guidance and support to ensure that all data-related activities follow applicable regulations and standards.
Requirements

We're seeking an experienced professional with:

  • A proven track record of implementing and utilising data platform technologies.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Databricks, Kafka, Alation, Customer Personalisation Technologies.
  • At least 5 years of experience running a data platform function in a large enterprise.
  • Good knowledge on Data management, data governance, and data storage principles.
  • Experience in Vendor Management, Contract negotiation, Change Management principles, Relational database and ETL principles.
