Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining contracts, managing subcontractor agreements, and coordinating the negotiation of contracts with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management
    • Prepare and maintain contracts and subcontractor agreements
    • Manage the subcontract lifecycle, including preparation of subcontract packages
    • Inform contractors and subcontractors of their obligations under these contracts
  • Bidding and Negotiation
    • Manage the bidding process and source cost estimates from contractors and suppliers
    • Negotiate commercial contract terms, conditions, and pricing
  • Contract Administration
    • Review and update existing contracts
    • Prepare contracts for execution
    • Manage paperwork associated with the contract lifecycle
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Be the key contact for subcontractors, material suppliers, and project managers
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Contract Administrator
  • Sound knowledge of Australian standard construction contracts and Contract Law
  • Good understanding of contract terms and conditions
  • Broad commercial and negotiation experience
  • Effective written, oral, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply contracts
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
