About The RoleThis role will involve providing administrative support for the operation of court registries.
- Providing frontline services to court users daily, responding to their needs with trauma-aware and compassionate service, and resolving enquiries promptly.
- Preparing courtrooms for sittings, making proclamations at court openings and closing, administering oaths and affirmations, maintaining security and control of jurors.
- Distributing exhibits and documents, testing courtroom technology, recognising and escalating risks related to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) and anti-social behaviours.
The successful candidate will also be required to manage administrative and financial documents accurately, adhere to policies and procedures, and build respectful relationships with judiciary, government agencies, litigants, and the public.
