Salary

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be $104,569 - $119,409 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves providing a range of effective therapeutic interventions using established evidence-based techniques and methodologies adapted to the individual needs and treatment plan for each client.

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs.
  • Contribute to case managed mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and social needs of clients, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  • Participate in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team that promotes a supportive workplace culture, upholding the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal community managed organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications in Psychology with general registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a high level of clinical judgement and prepare accurate reports relating to client outcomes and interventions.
  • Ability to work with culturally and socially diverse groups, applying a culturally responsive framework to guide interventions with the support of staff and management.
  • Knowledge of scientifically-based psychology treatment approaches for clients with various presenting problems, including mental health issues, suicidal ideation, drug and alcohol abuse, and trauma responses.
