Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at HealthcareLink in Ballarat, VIC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing family-centered care and supporting families with children's therapies and development.

About the Role

This is a full-time/part-time/contractor position available, offering a generous base salary + super. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, and be passionate about delivering evidence-based therapies and interventions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team, utilizing approaches supported by research, including activities of daily living, developmental assessment, positive behavior change, emotional regulation, and family-centered interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in assessments, planning, and delivery of OT education and support to families.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches to support children's development and well-being.
  • Liaise with the clinical team and communicate with external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide individual or family consultation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including paediatricians, psychologists, and speech therapists.
Requirements
  • Full AHPRA registration as an OT.
  • Active Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Driver's license and car.
Estimated Salary

AU$70,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
