Family Law Specialist | Career Opportunity

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available for a 1st or 2nd year qualified Family Law Solicitor to join our team in Campbelltown.

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual who has a desire to specialise in Family Law, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have maturity and confidence in dealing with all stakeholders associated with running a family law matter, as well as the ability to work autonomously and handle their own matters.

Key Responsibilities

Handling complex Family Law files with minimal supervision;

Providing timely and practical legal advice to clients;

Liaising with clients, third parties and Counsel;

Conducting in-depth legal research;

Preparing detailed financial disclosure, Court documents including initiating Applicants and Affidavits;

Attending Court and Conciliations; and

Attending and conducting client meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

We expect that the successful applicant would:

  • Have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Family Law;
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;
  • Be able to provide a high-quality client service;
  • Work effectively in a team environment; and
  • Have effective time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
