Program Coordinator - Youth Support

Melbourne City Mission's (MCM) Youth Housing First program provides housing and support to eligible young people leaving care.

">">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Provide flexible support tailored to the needs of young people, with varying levels of support throughout their time in the program.">
  • Develop advanced case planning and crisis interventions underpinned by Trauma-Informed Practice.">
  • Assist young people with multiple support needs to access allocated program housing and ongoing accommodation options.">
  • Use a sustaining tenancies practice approach to assist young people to establish new tenancies, prevent ongoing issues, and manage tenancies long-term.">
  • Facilitate access to relevant specialist support services, including health, mental health, AOD, and therapeutic interventions.">
">">Required Skills and Qualifications">

Eligible applicants will hold a Bachelor's qualification in Social Science, Youth Work, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience working within individual planned support frameworks (case management) with young people having multiple support needs is essential.
