Geotechnical Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Mining Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead our geotechnical strategy and execution across both underground and open pit operations at long-life, high-performing mines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement geotechnical design, monitoring, and risk management plans for UG and OP areas.
- Provide site-based guidance to production and technical teams to enhance ground safety and efficiency.
- Manage ground control systems, slope stability assessments, and geotechnical modeling to ensure mine safety and productivity.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in ground safety and efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- Underground hard rock experience in drill & blast design and execution.
- Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Vulcan, Deswik, ShotPlus, or similar software.
