About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Home Care Support Worker. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our customers in their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication administration, and household tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to customers in their own homes
  • Assist customers with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medication as prescribed by customers' healthcare providers
  • Assist customers with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Engage with customers in social activities and provide emotional support

Requirements

  • Driver's license and a fully insured car
  • Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
  • Medication Competency Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilience and ability to work independently
