About the Role

As a Hospitality Employee at Sarah Claydon, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our residents and their families. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent hospitality services, ensuring meals are served with care, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 13 hours per week. The shifts are available from 12pm-7pm, Monday and Tuesday (first week), Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (second week). There's also an opportunity to pick up additional shifts when they become available.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
  • Deliver and serve meals to our residents
  • General laundry duties, including personal laundry
  • Interact with residents and create meaningful customer relationships
  • Adhere to strict food safety guidelines
  • Help with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas
What We're Looking For
  • Experience delivering hospitality or laundry services (desirable)
  • A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
  • Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)
  • Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
  • Availability to work a range of shifts
