Site Supervisor

Job Description:

The National Trust of Australia (NSW) is a community-based conservation organisation with a mission to protect and conserve natural heritage. We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead our Bushland Management team in achieving our vision for a better future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train Field Staff on bushland sites, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and relevant Regional Manager's directions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through fulfilment of contractual requirements to a superior level.
  • Provide competent and confident leadership to field staff and volunteers, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to WHS protocols.
  • Conduct competency assessments, identify and report management issues, and liaise with the Regional Manager as required.
  • Organise tasks, manage field staff, and ensure teams work efficiently to meet contractual objectives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in supervising and training field staff in conservation and environmental management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of WHS protocols, legislation, and regulations related to environmental conservation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
