At HR Partners, we're seeking a seasoned HR Advisor to support our dedicated HR team and contribute to fostering a positive culture in a 12-month fixed-term contract position.

About the Role:

  • We're looking for an experienced professional with expertise in managing end-to-end ER matters, leading investigations, and handling complex cases.
  • As the ideal candidate, you'll have a proven ability to manage high volumes of inquiries with exceptional customer service skills and a proactive approach.
  • You will assist in creating and refining HR policies, processes, and procedures to support the growing volunteer base and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a similar field and strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A passionate individual who is committed to animal welfare and has excellent communication skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support case management for volunteers and handle HR-related inquiries with prompt and effective resolutions.
  2. Contribute to developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  3. Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, supporting managers with various tasks and project requirements.
  4. Ensure HR practices comply with relevant laws and policies and contribute to HR reporting.
  5. Support managers in volunteer performance evaluations and help develop feedback mechanisms and improvement plans.
  6. Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and suggest enhancements for greater efficiency and engagement.
  7. Maintain accurate records and case management documentation.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience managing end-to-end ER matters and leading investigations.
  • Is able to manage high volumes of inquiries with excellent customer service skills.
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a similar field.
  • Has strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Is an effective communicator, able to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Is passionate about animal welfare.
  • Previous experience in a NFP organisation is preferable.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
