Social Support SpecialistThis role involves delivering high-quality services to clients with complex needs, including those with disabilities, mental health issues, and trauma.
- Deliver person-centred services and support interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes
Working as a Social Support Specialist will enable you to work with individuals and families to develop tailored plans for support and intervention, and to implement these plans in a safe and respectful manner.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to build rapport quickly with clients, and be adaptable to changing circumstances.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs and is able to deliver excellent services with empathy and compassion.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in social support or related field
- Strong understanding of disability support principles and practices
- Able to communicate effectively with diverse client groups
