Senior Cyber Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Infrastructure Engineer to provide expert advice on the management and maintenance of cyber security tools, including SOAR and SIEM. You will work closely with key third-party suppliers to ensure a robust infrastructure capability and liaise with architecture and shared services areas to ensure security of day-to-day technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an optimal strategic system landscape by analyzing and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Oversee design, installation, and operation of ICT system instance landscapes, client, and transport processes to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide broad technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with the infrastructure team in design, procurement, and deployment of hardware and related assets to optimize system performance.
  • Resolve sensitive customer and stakeholder issues that impact policy, performance, and/or customer service by utilizing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise-scale gateway architecture and implementation to ensure secure data transmission.
  • Strong understanding of intra-data centre networking and its relationship to large systems to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Strong experience with data aggregation and observability platforms in enterprise environments to optimize system performance.
  • Experience in micro-services architectures and secure integration standards to ensure seamless integration.
