Senior Data Engineering Lead

The purpose of this position is to spearhead the development and implementation of large-scale data infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, and test complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools.
  • Build, optimise, and maintain scalable data storage solutions (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Lake, Delta/Parquet).
  • Enable advanced analytics use cases across large and complex datasets.
  • Provide reliable, high-quality data pipelines to support operational decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop other engineers through code reviews and feedback on best practices.
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and subject matter experts to align delivery with business needs.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical skills in building robust, scalable, and optimised ETL/ELT pipelines, data products, and visualisations.
