Job Title: Digital Systems Architect

About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled digital systems architects to contribute to the development of our operations management system.

Duties:
  • Design and implement detailed component specifications, translating designs for implementation.
  • Apply software development skills and engineering principles to develop deployable systems.
  • Develop comprehensive unit test plans and support design and test evaluation.
  • Apply agile methodologies to design and develop a defensive cyber operations suite.
Key Responsibilities (Alternate):
  • Conduct work in accordance with engineering management systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to shape system development.
  • Lead a technical team to coordinate requirements elicitation, design, and development through the Agency Capability Life Cycle and AGILE framework.
  • Lead a technical team to design and integrate systems with external systems.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly.
  • Conduct engineering reviews of developed artefacts.

  • Systems Engineering background
  • Requirements Engineering
  • Technical Governance
  • Agile methodology
  • Technical Regulatory frameworks (ICT TAF, TRAMM-L, eTAMM/DASR, NTRS)
  • Early Capability development (First Pass/Second Pass)
  • Experience with Linux OS automation and administration
  • Experience with C#, JavaScript, and Python
  • Proficient with React and CSS
  • Experience integrating custom software with third-party APIs
  • Experience with container orchestration, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes
  • Experience with Hypervisor platforms, VMWare, Hyper-V

Candidates must be Australian Citizens with a current negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance.
