Senior Clinician Opportunity in Haematology

The role of Staff Specialist Clinical Haematology is a senior position that provides clinical services to patients with haematological conditions. The successful applicant will make a significant contribution to the operation and management of the Stem Cell laboratory.


Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality clinical services to patients, including outpatient services and inpatient specialist expertise
  • Mentoring and guiding haematology fellows, advanced trainees, and junior medical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participating as sub-investigator in review of clinical trials and completion of associated tasks

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Possession of specialist registration in Clinical Haematology with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated expertise and high standards of clinical practice in Clinical Haematology
  • Experience in research relevant to the development of new knowledge and practices in Clinical Haematology
