Westpac is seeking a Manager, Service Provider Governance to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This pivotal role involves supporting all divisions by conducting supplier governance and risk management activities through consistent, transparent and auditable processes.

Job Overview

We are part of the office of the Chief Resilience Officer, a new team created to provide strategic and operational leadership to design, drive and maintain business resilience capability for all areas of the bank's Australian and global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Govern and facilitate Material and Major supplier Governance activities
  • Support, from end-to-end, supplier risk assessments
  • Manage, monitor and drive supplier compliance and governance to assure risk controls and issue management
  • Work collaboratively in a team of Managers and Associates
  • Provide expert advice and support to business stakeholders on governance requirements
  • Perform governance activities as required to support business stakeholders
  • Develop, manage and influence strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Champion and embed supplier governance and risk management across the Group, while driving continuous improvement
  • Assist to implement and advise stakeholders on regulatory and policy change initiatives
