As a Business Intake Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our client onboarding process.

You'll work closely with senior legal professionals, partners, and business services teams to deliver timely, accurate assessments that support our firm's strategic goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence policy, mentor rising talent, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation across the firm.

  • Lead end-to-end business intake checks for new clients and matters, including conflict screening and AML/CTF due diligence
  • Use platforms like Intapp to deliver fast, accurate assessments
  • Advise partners and internal teams on regulatory obligations and escalation pathways
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to build consistency and technical expertise
  • Collaborate on policy roll-outs, system upgrades, and stakeholder training
  • Contribute to pilot projects and strategic initiatives across the Risk & Legal Excellence function

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver timely, actionable feedback to senior leadership based on insights from daily business intake operations
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of laws and regulations, including AML/CTF rules, conflict of interest guidelines, and legal professional obligations
  • Conduct complex assessments, including AML risk evaluations, KYC/CDD reviews, and conflicts analyses
  • Serve as the go-to technical specialist for junior team members
  • Review and approve intake outputs from junior colleagues, escalating high-risk or sensitive matters as necessary
  • Deliver business intake-related advice and training to partners, fee earners, and legal assistants
