Director of Legal Strategy

The role involves leading the legal team to provide high-quality advice and casework services across a range of programs.

  • Drive the strategic direction of the legal team and lead complex, high-impact casework and strategic litigation.

Key Requirements:
  • Hold an unrestricted Practicing Certificate.
  • Have at least 7 years of post-admission experience, including complex litigation and people management.
  • Possess expertise in risk management, compliance, and quality assurance in legal practice.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and adaptable style.
  • Be committed to trauma-informed, culturally safe, and client-centred practice.

Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders is essential for success in this role.

About You:
  • Consider your work through the lens of client impact.
  • Have previous experience as a Legal Director or Principal/Practice Manager.
  • Hold qualifications or experience in community leadership, social justice, or human services.
