Job Title: Senior Director, Legal Affairs

This is a pivotal role in driving the company's energy transition and renewables strategy. As Senior Director, Legal Affairs, you will provide strategic legal advice on statutory interpretation, regulatory obligations, and compliance, while partnering with operational, commercial, and HR teams to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including EPC and battery supply contracts, distribution agreements, confidentiality agreements, and employment contracts.
  • Develop strategies to identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks across the business.
  • Ensure statutory and contractual obligations are met, fostering a culture of compliance and governance.
  • Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders, including international teams, regulators, and industry partners.
About You:
  • You must have at least 10 years' post-admission legal experience, preferably gained in both a top-tier law firm and in-house.
  • A proven track record in the energy, renewables, or infrastructure sectors, with a strong background in EPC contracts and battery supply agreements.
  • Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial outcomes.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing competing priorities under time pressure.
Essential Skills:
  • Mandarin language skills an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary and global teams.
