Clinical Psychologists and Health Psychologists are highly sought after in the field of Acute Medicine.

This role is a unique opportunity to deliver specialist psychology services to inpatients with medical admissions at Box Hill Hospital.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to high-quality care, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage referrals and provide psychological assessments and formulations
  • Develop and implement brief psychological interventions
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assist with patient care and discharge planning
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical or Health Psychology
  • Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Endorsement as a Clinical or Health Psychologist

Additionally, those eligible to work towards endorsement in the Approved Area of Practice of Clinical Psychology may be considered.
