Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to support our workforce education and research initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Principal Clinical Educator and report directly to the Director of Psychology.

The role involves developing and implementing clinical education programs, ensuring the delivery of quality supervision and training for Psychologists across various divisions. This includes supporting Postgraduate Trainees, Interns, and Registrars in their professional development.

In addition to clinical education, the Patient Education Specialist will contribute to Western Health's overall strategic plan, focusing on workforce education and research. They will model a positive learning culture and work collaboratively with other clinical educators within the organization.

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive postgraduate experience at a senior level in a mental health or relevant setting. A strong focus on education, training, and commitment to driving the strategic agenda for psychologist training is essential.

A collaborative approach to workforce support and wellbeing is crucial. You should be passionate about supporting psychologists working with consumers with complex and chronic health and mental health conditions in a dynamic clinical environment.
