About the role
This is a unique opportunity for a clinical or health psychologist to deliver specialist psychology services to inpatients with medical admissions at Box Hill Hospital.
Responsibilities include triaging referrals, conducting psychological assessments and formulations, providing brief psychological interventions, and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patient care and discharge planning.
The role is for between 0.5 and 0.6 EFT, depending on the grade level.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical or Health Psychology
Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
Endorsement as a Clinical or Health Psychologist
Eligibility to work towards endorsement in the Approved Area of Practice of Clinical Psychology may be considered
A strong commitment to high-quality care
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Vaccination against infectious diseases is mandatory.
Employment is conditional upon providing evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (including booster) and influenza vaccination prior to commencement.
