Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to manage the front desk efficiently, ensuring seamless patient interactions and experiences.

  • Front Desk Management:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Respond to phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments with precision.
    • Oversee patient check-in/check-out processes, guaranteeing accurate information and timely updates.
  • Multitasking & Prioritisation:
    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering phone calls and processing paperwork with ease.
    • Effectively prioritise tasks based on urgency, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Patient Coordination:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict documentation standards.
    • Verify patient information prior to appointments, guaranteeing seamless coordination between medical staff.
    • Collaborate closely with medical professionals to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining medical records with precision and attention to detail.
    • Manage billing and medicare batching, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
    • Prepare reminders for appointments and follow-ups, streamlining the office workflow.
  • Problem-Solving & Initiative:
    • Anticipate patient needs and resolve issues efficiently, providing excellent customer satisfaction.
    • Take initiative to improve office efficiency, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Communication:
    • Act as the primary point of contact between patients, doctors, and nurses, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
    • Communicate appointment details and procedures clearly, ensuring patient understanding and satisfaction.
