We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Architect to join our team at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating on a range of projects, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design teams on multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement design concepts, working closely with clients and stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are progressing as planned and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and other documentation to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our design and delivery processes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified degree in landscape architecture.
  • A member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects or with the intention of completing registration in the near future.
  • 5-10 years of post-graduate experience in landscape architecture, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
  • Valid driver's license and general construction induction card (White Card).
  • Familiarity with planning legislation and regulations in NSW, including DCPs, LEPs, and state authority approval requirements.
