Caregiver Role Overview.

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personal care services to residents in accordance with Commonwealth and State Legislative requirements.

About the Role:
This position involves providing individualized support to residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care services to residents according to Commonwealth and State Legislative requirements.
* Support residents in daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
* Participate in regular team meetings to discuss resident care plans and share best practices.

Requirements:
* Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
* Experience working with and empathy towards the elderly
* Understanding of dementia
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
* Commitment to training
* Understanding of Work Health and Safety
* Current Class C Drivers Licence
* Empathy with Aboriginal culture
* Ability to comply with documentation requirements
* Certificate III in Aged Care or willingness to obtain
