We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Assistant to join our Transitional Aged Care Program in Albury.

About the Opportunity

The program is designed to provide slow-stream rehabilitation and practical support to care-recipients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

  • Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and transport services to support daily living activities.
  • Offer social support and health monitoring under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, helping individuals achieve their goals and live safely at home.

This is a community-based 12-week program where you will work with an experienced team of Nursing and Allied Health professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Requirements
  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Nursing student experience in Aged Care, Home Care, or acute/subacute care settings.
  • Organisational skills, reliability, and accountability for your work within the scope of practice.
  • Ability to work confidently without direct supervision, utilising your initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • A current unrestricted driver's license for travel between appointments.

Please note that you will be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining, a current Police Record Check, Proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
