Job Title:

Nutrition and Dietetics Leadership Role

The successful applicant will work as a Lead Nutritionist, providing high-quality clinical services to patients and clients in the coastal region of New South Wales. As a senior professional, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans, and assessing patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patient health needs and developing personalized nutrition care plans;
  • Leading a multidisciplinary healthcare team and mentoring junior staff members;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery;
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes;
  • Maintaining accurate records and participating in performance monitoring and evaluation.
  • Providing expert advice on nutrition and dietetics to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals;

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field;
  • Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional organization;
  • Highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Clinical proficiency and ability to lead a clinical team;
  • Ability to prioritize and organize clinical workloads within a team;
  • Experience in developing and optimizing clinical services and protocols;
  • Ongoing personal continuous professional development;
  • Demonstrated experience in service development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice leadership.
