About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Process Engineer to provide daily technical support and short-term technical improvements that support the operations of the site. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize material properties, enhance manufacturing processes, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction to the production department on a daily basis
  • Use of data historians to enable effective analysis
  • Drives continuous improvement and Plant/Area idea generations
  • Knowledge in 'Plant' technology leading to optimal troubleshooting of complex plant issues
  • Leads multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Daily monitoring of plant for improvement
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly KPI's for continuous improvement purposes leading improvements.
  • Development of task instructions and risk assessments as needed
  • Provide Contractor Work Supervision for process plant contractor services

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Significant Post graduate experience in process engineering, ideally gained within a similarly complex fixed plant environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian standards
  • Team oriented, process, and results focused with a demonstrated track record in facilitating change and achieve results.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, problem solving, and analytical tools / techniques
  • Experience of structured incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques
  • Desire to challenge the status quo, identify problems, and implement solutions
